About

Art by Fred Tyre — vibrant, experimental, genuine

I make art because I love the process of creating, and I share it hoping it connects with someone who needs exactly what I made that day. Maybe it's the vibrance of color that catches you, or the way something impossible feels suddenly real, or just the energy of experimentation captured in the final piece.

I've been creating for as long as I can remember, trying different techniques and mediums, always showing up to see what wants to emerge. I don't always know who my art is for until someone tells me it spoke to them. If something here resonates with you, that's the connection I'm hoping for — your response is what gives this work its purpose.

My mediums include linocut printmaking, pyrography (wood burning), original acrylic paintings, and colored pencil. I work out of my studio in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
